I am a member of Romance Writers of America since 1989, and a charter member of Southwest Florida Romance Writers. My other chapter affiliations in RWA are the Published Authors Special Interest Chapter and the Published Authors Network. I'm also a member of Novelists Inc.

We raised our family on a ranch in Southern California. In the early 1980s my husband and I moved to Florida. I began writing fiction and launched into my quest to be published. We moved back to California in late 2011.

I love history, Indian heritage in particular. My published work will concentrate heavily on the historical side, but as time goes on, I hope to write generational family stories, leading into present day, time travel, and perhaps a Western contemporary.

As a writer for more than 20 years, I've learned a bit about this business and do a lot of critiquing and judging for aspiring authors. Perhaps I should have been a teacher--maybe I was in another life--but I try to share my expertise and give a hand up to those following in published authors' footsteps.
