Lynne Watts

Lynne Watts, Ed.S. is the author of the Wyatt the Wonder Dog Book Series; books with an empowering message for children. As an elementary school counselor for the last twenty years in Canton Georgia, she helped children solve hundreds of problems much like the ones Wyatt is faced with in the Wyatt series. She is continually amazed and encouraged by her students’ creativity, enthusiasm and courage. Through the Wyatt stories, she hopes to empower many more children to become successful problem solvers and leaders.

She is passionate about not only telling a good story, but living a good story as well. She was encouraged to begin writing as a young child by her grandfather, Henry Clay Ferree, who was a writer for the Winston-Salem Journal and Sentinel. Lynne couldn't imagine anything better than following in his footsteps.

In addition to writing, she coaches and speaks to groups about understanding personality styles, setting and reaching goals and living your dreams.
