John Wasley

John Wasley wasn't born with a pen in his hand - but close. He cannot remember when he didn't feel cursed with the need to write. He managed to break free from this love-hate relationship periodically, but could never secure a divorce. His first really 'serious' public effort was writing and producing a school play. However, the fever never really returned - except as a dream - until, on leaving the Royal Navy, he put his love of photography together with the renewed passion to write. As a result, he secured a position as a journalist and feature writer on two photographic magazines. This was closely followed by assignments to write books on photography and other delightful subjects. Since then he has turned his hand to writing speeches, training courses, copywriting, and editing other people's books (a lot more fun, he observes, than editing his own). In the last few years, he has morphed into fiction writing - his greatest long-standing passion (for a non-human being, that is!)
