Avi Shafran

Rabbi Avi Shafran, a Baltimore native who attended Ner Israel Rabbinical College and was ordained by Rabbi Y. Y. Ruderman, serves as Agudath Israel of America’s director of public affairs. He writes widely in the Jewish and general press and is the author of several books, including Jewthink, Jewthink II and Migrant Soul: The Story of an American Ger (Targum/Feldheim).
