Ted Bernard is a writer who lives on a ridge-top farm in southeastern Ohio. With Jora Young, he co-authored "The Ecology of Hope" and later wrote "Hope and Hard Times," both about the journey of nine extraordinary communities pursuing community sustainability. Now available on Amazon, is Ted's latest project, "Late-K Lunacy," a novel about students at a fictional university in southern Ohio protesting the university's decision to switch to fracked natural gas for heating and cooling. While occupying the main quadrangle of campus, in class they must confront, theoretically and in fact, the prospect of planetary collapse. In the mid-2030s a small community of survivors builds anew.
