Bob Klein

Bob Klein's career began aa a zoologist, researching animal behavior in the jungles of Central America. At the same time, he studied the healing systems of ancient cultures with traditional teachers from those cultures. After studying Tai-chi, chi-gung and massage for many years and receiving his Tai-chi teaching certificate from Grandmaster William C. C. Chen in 1975, Mr. Klein devoted all of his time to teaching these subjects. He wrote the books, "Movements of Magic - the Spirit of Tai-chi-Chuan" and "Movements of Power - Ancient Secrets of Unleashing Instinctual Vitality". In 2009, Mr. Klein wrote the adventure nove. "The Doubting Snake", portraying the efforts of the Indians of Central America to preserve their way of life and their forests in the face of encroachment of the modern world. This book allows the reader to experience the jungle through the eyes of its inhabitants.

Bob Klein is now the head of one particular system of chi-gung healing exercises called, "Zookinesis" (animal exercises). He teaches these exercises as well as Tai-chi on over 25 instructional DVD's under the "Artistic Video" label.

Early in his career, Mr. Klein produced a series of educational programs for schools in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area called, "The Animal Man". He brought a small zoo of exotic animals to schools, disussing their behavior, evolution and conservation and emphasized the need to preserve wildlife habitat. He now lives on Long Island and teaches Tai-chi and Zookinesis and does massage at his home in Sound Beach. Bob also teaches Zookinesis chair exercises for seniors at local senior centers and nursing homes. He teaches advanced courses for other Tai-chi teachers at several workshops around the country.
