I suppose you could call me an "industrial picker". When I go to estate sales, or auctions, I look for antiques and old radios, old calculators, old scientific instruments and even old tubes and parts. "Guy Stuff". I have made a living doing this. It's a lot of fun, and extremely educational. This is why I have written the books you see listed here. I am really sharing my secrets. I collect old radios and many of the things I write about. This does take up a lot of room. But I do high-grade, and upgrade my collection, by selling and trading. I've also had quite an interesting time with electronic waste, literally a gold mine! Another gold mine for me has been industrial surplus products.

The internet has been a mixed blessing. You can find just about anything, and you can sell about anything. Your customers are global now. (But your competition is also unlimited, whether you are buying or selling).
