Peter D. Mauch

Dr. Mauch is the president of Mauch & Associates, Quality Advisory Services. His experience in quality management system (QMS) development and education span's across a wide range of fields. Such as:

High-Tech electronics, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, Consumer electronics, General metalworking, Forging, Foundry, etc, Screw machine, Fastener Industry, Metal stamping, Service sector, Medical equipment, Chemical, Railroad,Machine tool, Aerospace, computer/software, Plastic industries, Mining, Calibration/testing laboratories, Defense, Automotive, and more

He holds a PhD in Total Quality Management, Masters in Science degree in Management and Bachelors of Art degree in Applied Behavioral Science including degrees in Data Processing and Business Management, along with Diploma's in Calibration and Electronic Technology. In addition, he is an ASQC Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, and QAI certified Quality Analysis.

Dr. Mauch is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Western Society of Engineers (WSE), Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), American Consultants League (ACL), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and Senior Member of the American Society for Quality Control (ASQC).

Dr. Mauch is an International lecturer on Total Quality Management and an adjunct professor at Triton College teaching degree courses in Quality. He is also a member of the Triton College advisory board on Quality Curriculum development. Peter is also a Guest Lecturer at Oakton Community College and College of DuPage where he teaches seminars on all aspects of quality assurance.

As a past executive board member for the ASQ Chicago Section, he has held various positions, from Chicago Section Chair, Vice Chairperson of Section Affairs to training institute controller. He also serves as a member of ANSI technical Committee 176 for revising ISO Standard 9004. "Quality Management and Quality System Elements". He is the author of two published books "Basic S.P.C.: A Primer for the Service Industries published by Quality Press. The most recent effort is his new book published by St. Lucy Press, "The 90-Day ISO Manual Implementation Guide with two other well-known quality professional James R. Stewart and Frank Straka.
