Lenora Ucko has been a writer all her life. In a somewhat checkered career, she was a political researcher, a government administrator, an anthropologist, a college professor, a museum curator, and founder of a unique nonprofit, called StoriesWork . Over the years, her work has appeared in popular magazines, professional journals, monographs, anthologies, and on Amazon and Kindle. Now, after trying to retire several times without success, she is devoting her twilight years to writing and self-publishing.
However it is in her personal life - two marriages, three children, plus extensive travel - that she learned of life's rewards and tragedies, and the shared humanity of all the world's people.
