Catherine McGuire

Catherine McGuire is a retired therapist and a writer/artist with a deep interest in Nature and our connection with it. Two kids' scifi books from TSR (Raid on Nightmare Castle and Trouble on Artule) came out in the 80's. Her poetry has appeared in publications such as New Verse News, FutureCycle, Portland Lights and on a bus for the Poetry In Motion project. She has four poetry chapbooks: Palimpsests (Uttered Chaos), Glimpses of a Garden, Poetry and Chickens and Joy Holding Stillness (self-published - available at www.cathymcguire.com). Her first full-length book of poetry, Elegy for the 21st Century (FutureCycle Press) arrives in October and a deindustrial science fiction novel Lifeline (Founders House Publishing) comes out in November.
