Jo Schlehofer

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Jo Schlehofer is active in counseling, workshops, and retreats for mature women. She holds an M.A. in Counseling from the University of San Francisco and a Life Credential in Adult Education from U.C.L.A. In additional to her work with women, she has conducted workshops on parenting for large corporations and numberous Catholic dioceses in California, Oregon, and Washington. In addition to her book, Celebrate The Older You, published in the United States and in Korea, she is the author of Joy in Parenting and of a three video series on parenting published by Paulist Press.

In her book, Celebrate The Older You, Jo Schlehofer uses anecdotes and examples drawn from her clinical pratice shreding new light on the everyday issues we face as we mature, offering practical insights to help us meet these challenges one step at a time. Her reflection questions, exercises, guided meditations, and psalm prayers serve as gentle reminders of God's ever-present, nurturing care.
