Melvin Amerson

Melvin Amerson is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and serves as a Resource Specialist/Stewardship Consultant with the TMF (Texas Methodist Foundation) in Austin, Texas. He has pastored churches in the state of Texas. Amerson has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas, Master of Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, an Executive Leadership certificate from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, he is a board member of Ecumenical Stewardship Center in Richmond, Indiana. Known for his energetic and engaging presentations, Melvin has led numerous training events across the country. Melvin is the author of "Stewardship in African American Churches: A New Paradigm", "Celebrating the Offering", and "Fruit for Celebrating the Offering."
