Dick Gruber

Dick Gruber M.A. is a professor of children’s ministry at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, PA. Gruber has served as a volunteer and leader in children’s church ministry since March of 1975. He is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Gruber is co-founder of Children’s Ministry University Online and a host on the Children’s Ministry Talk podcast. He has been a featured speaker in camps, conferences, and at churches for over three decades.

Hi, I’m Dick Gruber. The above biography cries for somebody to fill in the gaps between the lines and spaces. I love my wife, Darlene, our four children and at this moment, ten grandchildren. I enjoy cartooning, playing the piano, and cooking good food for Darlene, the kids, and my college students. I hope someday to make pancakes as good as those made by my grandfather, James Doksansky. I drool just thinking about them.

I am a volunteer in my local church and have enjoyed a growing relationship with Jesus Christ since January 19, 1975. I serve the most unreached and neglected people group on planet earth, the children. My life is dedicated to them and to the fabulous people leading them in churches around the world.
