Donna Perugini

Hi! I'm Donna Perugini and I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband. Roles I also fill are mother and grandmother to four grandchildren. We live in a small town surrounded by the beauty of forest and mountains.

I've been writing stories since grade school. When I began to teach Children's Church (for 30 years), I found there was a need for materials with impact. Necessity being the mother of invention, I began to write my own materials and put them into bite-sized pieces for the children.

My goal in writing is to help the reader understand; to impact them with the truth; to help facilitate a change from darkness to light.

The first three "Donna Perugini Books" are the "Orville" series: "The Flight of Orville Wright Caterpillar", "The Adventure of Amelia Airheart Butterfly in bye! bye! Dragonfly!" and "Do Angels Go Camping?".

The "Orville" book is a story about the dream in your heart and becoming what God has planned for you to be. The first step is being Born Again.

"Amelia's" book is the story of a friend that tells her the Truth! Amelia learns to ignore the 'What If's' (fear), triumphing over the enemy. Preschool to eight years old

The "Do Angels Go Camping? book reminds the children how to pray and about angels in their lives. Orville and Amelia introduce their friend, Antrew Ant in this book.

The fourth is a stand-alone book, "Don't Hug A Grudge". The book is Spanish/English and describes the growth of unforgiveness as a 'Grudge, Resentment and finally Bitterness'. It also gives children the solution to eliminating grudges, resentment or bitterness from their lives....and keeping it that way!

This book was thought of enough by Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries International, to use the book illustrations and content in her teaching series, "Bitterness, Resentment and Unforgiveness". Eight to adult
