Amy C. Laundrie

Amy Laundrie taught elementary school for over thirty years and continues to share her love of nature, animals, and stories with readers of all ages. Her newest chapter book, Snip and Bittersweet, invites children 8–12 into a whimsical world of tiny heroes and giant adventures. Her latest picture book, When an Octopus Crashes Your Party, is a fun, frolicking choice for storytime. She is also the author of the survival novel Stranded on Castaway Island, several picture books, and two memoir collections—Laugh, Cry, Reflect and Laugh, Cry, Reflect: More Stories from a Joyful Heart.

Amy especially loves visiting classrooms—in person or via Zoom—to spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of storytelling.
