Millicent H. Kellner, PhD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and certified educational supervisor who has worked with children in mental health, child welfare, and special education settings. In addition to writing the In Control series for teachers and parents, she has developed a Bingo game for schools and youth programs to teach anger management skills. She has published journal articles and made numerous presentations at professional conferences about anger management. Millicent was the recipient of the 2001-2002 Presidential Award from ASAH for her leadership, service, and advocacy on behalf of New Jersey's citizens with special needs. She was also recognized as the 2003 School Social Worker of the Year by the NJ Association of School Social Workers. Her interests include the outcomes of special education and bullying prevention. Presently, she is a member of the Inclusive Schools Climate Initiative team at the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Center for Applied Psychology, New Brunswick, NJ.
