Elaine K. Sanchez

Elaine K Sanchez is an author, speaker, and co-founder of CaregiverHelp.com, an online caregiver support program. Her keynotes and workshops are based on her unflinchingly honest and surprisingly funny book, “Letters from Madelyn, Chronicles of a Caregiver.”

Based on her own experience of caring for family members, she believes that caregiving is entirely too stressful to take seriously all of the time. She is a gifted story-teller who is passionate about helping others find hope, humor, and heart in caregiving.

Together with her husband, Dr. Alex Sanchez, Elaine developed a number of online continuing education courses for nurses, long-term care administrators, and mental health professionals.

In 2017, she released two new DVD programs:

"So God, what are WE going to do today . . . One Woman's Spiritual Journey Through Life, Love, and Loss," is a combination of a keynote and a one-woman play. Delivered at the 2017 Oregon Episcopal Women's Conference, the video is funny, heartwarming, and inspiring. This DVD gets rave reviews from people who have an open mind, a compassionate heart, and the willingness to accept that there are many ways to connect with God.

"Caregiver Survival Training" is a 3-DVD set that features 4 1/2 hours of video and includes a 24-page workbook. The course provides proven strategies that help family and professional caregivers manage the emotional stress of caregiving. The program features a combination of excerpts from Elaine's live speaking engagements along with entertaining, engaging, and educational animated videos.

Elaine writes the blog, Caregiver Help Word of the Day, as well as numerous free-lance articles for magazines and other online publications, including the Huffington Post.
