Thomas Walters is an award-winning artist and educator with eighteen years experience teaching in public, private, and for-profit education, specializing in Art History, Interdisciplinary Humanities, Drawing, Painting and Wood Sculpture. His bachelors' degree in Art Education is from Atlantic Union College, where he concentrated in the arts of sculpture, drawing and ceramics. His masters' degree in Art Education is from Andrews University with a concentration in Art History. He finished all of the course work for a Ph.D. in Comparative Arts (Interdisciplinary Studies) at Ohio University.(ABD) He also has a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Biblical Counseling from California Graduate School of Theology.
His accomplishments include teaching the arts of painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, music appreciation, art appreciation, art history and interdisciplinary humanities at Indiana University of South Bend IN, Montemorelos University, N.L Mexico, and Southern Adventist University, Collegedale, TN. He has exhibited his art works including wood sculpture, painting, drawing and ceramics in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
