Lance Smith

Lance Smith was born in 1941 in north west Alabama. He has traveled extensively in the United States, Mexico and Canada as well as many countries around the world. He is a U.S.Army veteran of the Vietnam war, servng there with an engineer brigade. He lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for five years, including the time of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, the ensuing evacuation of his family back to the US and the massive influx of US troops into Saudi Arabia. He returned to the US in fall of 1991. He now shares his time between homes in Florida and Lake Tapps,Washington with his wife Susan. Writing has been a passion most of his life.
