Judith Hougen

Judith Hougen teaches at Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota, as an Associate Professor of English (M.F.A. University of Montana). She tackles a variety of creative writing classes (with the obligatory composition course here and there) and loves interacting with college students, especially her emerging writers. When Hougen is not teaching, she works on writing projects, currently a collection of highly narrative, literary quality personal essays on faith and the writing life. Hougen lives in a suburb of St. Paul where she enjoys the proverbial "theatre of seasons," spending winter nights reading or working next to fireplace and summers on her patio reading on cool Minnesota mornings and frequenting the St. Paul Farmer's Market. She blogs on faith and writing at www.judithhougen.blogspot.com
