David Kerrigan Fly

A standup comedian during his high school years, a professional clown with a five day a week television program throughout his college career, David Fly was ordained to the Episcopal priesthood in 1966. He has served in urban, rural, and campus ministries throughout the Midwest. His last position was rector of Grace Church, Kirkwood, Missouri. Since his retirement, he has been in demand as a preacher, teacher and conference leader. His books include FACES OF FAITH — REFLECTIONS IN A REARVIEW MIRROR, a memoir filled with stories of growing up in a small town in Southwest Missouri, MY LIFE UNDER THE BIG TOP — REFLECTIONS OF A COMIC, CLOWN AND PRIEST, stories of his professional life and how, as time went on, those three roles became increasingly intertwined, and I’M PRESIDENT AND YOU’RE NOT — THE RESIDENCY OF DONALD TRUMP, A DISTASTING, a book of comic verse which spans February through September of 2018.
