Christopher Nye

Christopher Nye’s writing consists mainly of poetry, but the story of the old shepherd came as a kind of gift from an elderly friend, and he turned it into a children’s picture book. After retiring from a career in higher education, he went to work at Orion Magazine and later became board chair. Today he manages a wildlife preserve in western Massachusetts and is working in several areas to promote educational transformation.
