Kris Erickson

Kriss Erickson is a versatile freelance writer who has had over 1,000 pieces published since she began writing professionally in 1981. She has often illustrated her work, and has provided photographs when needed.

Kriss had a cookbook, titled Healthy Gourmet Cheesecakes: Simple Recipes for Sensational Cheesecakes, published in January, 1998 by Avery Publishing. ISBN# 0-89529-783-3. In January of 2004, Kriss completed a series of children's books titled Bug Buddies (pictured above), for San Min Publishers in Taiwan. Kriss has also written essays for several editions of the popular anthology series, "A Cup of Comfort."

As a survivor of child abuse, Kriss self-published an autobiographical e-book titled Sky Eyes: Dissociative Identity Disorder from the bottom up, that describes how and why a child begins to dissociate, how named personalities develop and how growing up with scattered energy affected her ability to interact with other people.

Kriss also self-published thee e-books of a fantasy series, titled: The Land Behind the Veil: Book I, Brownbird's Luck ,Book II, Journey to Brodantia,and Book III: Inner Unicorn

In May, 2012, Kriss published, "Before There Were Words: Energetic meanings of Runes", published by Synclectic Media. This book adds to the knowledge about runes by helping people see major energetic themes in their lives.

In October of 2020, Kriss self-published a helpful energy guide: In Service to the Light: Energetic Self-Defense. This book helps people become more aware of their energy and how to keep it balanced.

Kriss completed a Master of Arts in Counseling, a Certificate in Spiritual Direction in May of 2003, and is an Atlantean, Crystal, Karuna (tm), Usui/Tibetan, Ra-Sheeba, Shamanic and Lightarian Reiki Master teacher.
