Margaret Steele

Empowering others is the focus of my books -- from helping people log their To Do lists towards success, to taking notes for continued understanding, to helping children or English as a Second Language students learn colors, numbers, and shapes (plus about wonderful contemporary art). When I was a young child I wrote in a small 3-ring binder all of "the colors in the world," alphabetized in lists from paint companies, lipstick companies, and crayon boxes. I still gravitate to the wonder of so many beautiful things in life, and how to arrange them.

Born and raised in Princeton NJ, I now live in Los Angeles with my beloved husband and our two children. Our garage has been converted to an art studio, where I begin my books, sketching them out on paper with a simple box representing each page.
