Dan Furst

Dan Furst is an Aquarian activist. He has been an actor, singer and sound shaman, astrologer and ceremonial artist in his native New York, Kyoto Japan, Hawaii, India, Indonesia and Egypt. He has been called "a kind of spiritual Indiana Jones" (Steven Rosenthal, Future Primitive Ensemble) for his extensive travel and soul work through sacred sites and spiritual traditions throughout the world.

His latest book, Finding Your Best Places: Using Astrocartography to Navigate Your Life, was published in Amazon Create Space and Kindle editions in 2015. Book 2 in his Astrocartography series, Maps of Power: the Astrocartography of the Great, the Beautiful and the Terrible will be published by summer 2016.

His books, Dance of the Moon: Celebrating the Sacred Cycles of the Earth (Llewellyn, 2009), and Surfing Aquarius (Red Wheel Weiser, 2011), along. with his Universal Festival Calendar, published monthly since 1998, have made him one of the world's leading experts in sacred timekeeping, mythic lore and history, and today's transition toward Aquarian spiritual consciousness.

Dan now lives in Pisac in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, Peru. where he's at work on Double Harmonies, his book on the ancient Egyptian sound science and sacred music, and on exploring the plant teachers and shamanic practices of the Andean cultures.
