Eric J. Brown

Eric J. Brown is a senior technology executive with more than twenty years experience implementing global IT solutions throughout Asia Pacific, EU and Middle Eastern regions. He is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of NCI Building Systems, Inc., the largest manufacturer and marketer of metal building components and pre-engineered metal building systems in North America. With a workforce of 5,000 employees, NCI Building Systems provides extensive metal product lines under well recognized brand names.

After joining NCI in June, 2004, Mr. Brown developed an IT vision and strategy designed to strongly link Information Technology with NCI's key business objectives. The Information Technology Department has operational, strategic and fiscal responsibility for the innovation, implementation and advancement of technical solutions for all NCI Divisions.

Prior to his position with NCI, Mr. Brown has been CIO of Punahou School in Hawaii, Senior Vice President and CIO for a global travel industry software development company, Vice President and CIO for a Chevron/Texaco company and an executive with KPMG Consulting. In addition, he has founded a professional services firm, co-founded two software consulting firms and held a key position in two international startups.
