Lee Jarvis

Lee Jarvis is Professor of International Politics at the University of East Anglia UK.

His research focuses on how security challenges such as terrorism, radicalisation, cyber-threats, and pandemics are constructed, communicated and resolved, and the implications of this for democracy, citizenship, communities, and policy.

Lee is author/editor of fourteen books and some seventy articles/chapters on the politics of security. His research has been funded by the ESRC, AHRC, ARC, NATO and others, and he co-edits the journal Critical Studies on Terrorism.
