Tim Thornton

Tim Thornton is a musician and writer from London. His novels are 2009's The Alternative Hero, described by the Guardian as “the indiest book of all time”, 2010's Death of an Unsigned Band, 2018's celebration of a rock festival in the afterlife, Felix Romsey's Afterparty, and 2024's time-travel comic thriller Flipping Dimensions. Since 2005 Tim has been the drummer and guitarist for Fink, with whom he has recorded eight albums and toured internationally. Fink’s music has been featured in The Walking Dead, Suits and The Black List, as well as a climactic scene in the Golden Globe and Oscar- nominated Selma.
