James B. Bell

A Distinguished Fellow of the Rothermere American Institute, Oxford University, Bell's special academic and publication research interest is 17th and 18th century English and Early American History. In particular the civil and ecclesiastical politics that drove the extension of the Church of England to England's first empire, the Thirteen American Colonies. Visiting Fellow Rothermere American Institute; Visiting Fellow, Princeton Theological Seminary; Visiting Fellow, Center for the Study of Religion, Princeton University. He has taught at The Ohio State University; the College of Wooster; Princeton University; Barnard College; and Oxford University.
