Amit Pasricha

Amit Pasricha is a third generation photographer based in Delhi, India and spent his childhood helping his grandfather scratch on glass plates and negatives and hand colour B/W photographs. Today Pasricha is one of the world’s foremost names in the field of Panoramic Photography. Pasricha’s collector’s edition, The Monumental India Book was acclaimed as one of the top 10 coffee-table books of the world in 2008. Its sequel The Sacred India Book, published 2010, won the prestigious German Photo Book Award 2014. His third panoramic book - India at Home released in 2016 is a study of Indians in their domestic spaces.

Pasricha believes that everything within our world is inter-related and it’s these connections that he tries of represent through his panoramic works. Pasricha has made it his life mission to document the Lesser Known Monuments of India and is planning a series of books on this subject in the years to follow.
