Joyce Norman

Joyce Norman was born in Ft.Worth, Texas,and attended Texas Wesleyan University, majoring in drama and English. With teaching degree in hand she headed for the Heart of Dixie -- Alabama, where she has lived since. She received her M.A. in English from the University of Alabama, and is the proud mom of Clay, her talented son who lives/works in San Francisco. Joyce was a journalist for many years and traveled throughout the Middle East, sending back stories just prior to the bombings in Beirut, Lebanon. She has been the editor of several newspapers and now spends all her time writing and traveling. "Coming Together" about love and intrigue in Rio was released last Fall and she is currently working on her fifth book -- "The Lost Skate Key." Joyce is a ghostwriter and just completed her third book about a trialthon athlete. She is also co-owner of Chalet Publishers, LLC, with offices in Alabama and Arizona. She has won numerous awards for her writing and loves mentoring new writers who are all looking for "just the right words."
