Daniel Jarach

Daniel Jarach was born in Venice but he lives and works in Milan since many years. Former lawyer he became journalist very soon to start up as special correspondent for Corriere della Sera.

As writer began in 1978 with the biography of the famous classic ballerina Carla Fracci, a book illustrated with the fantastic picures of his father, Dino. They are followed the books: Claretta Petacci, the historical novel of her love story with Benito Mussolini, the literary essay Donna Oggetto? (Object Woman?) about the emancipation of women, winner of the Literary Prize "Donna" 1984. In 1980 he moved to Washington D.C. for working in the Head Quarters of NASA. He made a long research for collecting pictures and documents about all the American spatial enterprises. At the end he wrote The conquest of space, an encyclopedia of 4 books.

For more than a decade he has been editor in chief of two best selled italian weekly magazines, then he began to write thrillers, a literay genre which stimulates his imagination and creativity. The first thriller by Daniel Jarach KIDNAPPING - FINAL REVENGE, is an action set in the hard reality of today (2016). THE TAILOR, his second novel, is an action & legal thriller. It is completely set in New York and tells the story of a serial killer, astute and fierce, that holds under chessman the NYPD. (2017).

In 2016 he wrote and published SERGIO LEONE BACKSTAGE OF A GENIUS (english version), a collection book illustrated with the beautiful pictures shot by his father Dino in 1968 on the backstage of the famous film by Sergio Leone ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST. It is available as ebook on Amazon.com

KIDNAPPING VENDETTA FINALE and IL SARTO-THE TAILOR are both ebooks sold by Amazon.it in italian version. Since July 2017 they are available on Amazon.it as paperbacks. In 2018 he has published on Amazon.it L'ALTRO VOLTO DEL KILLER, a multi-thriller located in London's New Scotland Yard. 3 stories about 3 different cases for Richard Foster, head of Scotland Yard. Imprevidible end in Ground Zero, NYC. In 2022/23 he published his last thriller, LA RAGAZZA DI PLACE VENDOME (THE GIRL OF PLACE VENDOME). The story is located in Paris. Under the historical column of Place Vendome the naked boby of a beautiful girl has been found. Chief Inspector Raynaud begins to investigate but he has to fight against the hallucinations that appear in his mind before to be on the right track in order to identify the killer.
