A native Minnesotan, I now live in Michigan. Professor Emeritus of Theatre from

Western Michigan University. Prizewinning Playwright, author of five novels. I have a wide

range of interests. I don't have a genre that drives my writing. Each of my novels is different from the one before. Now at work on an autobiography. I enjoy reading Young Adult books, and especially like adult authors Steinbeck, Hemmingway, E. L. Doctorow, Nicholas Sparks, Anne Tyler, Toni Morrison and John Grisham. I live with my wife and dog, Nappy, and drive an '05 PT Cruiser
