Libby Colman

Libby Colman holds doctorates in Social Psychology and English Literature. She has been honored by the City of San Francisco for her dedication to children and families at risk. Her previous books include ground-breaking works on the emotional aspects of pregnancy and early parenting. She read for her dissertation on Shakespeare's Late Plays (which include The Tempest) at the Folger Shakespeare Library and wrote up her research while living near the 16th Century Old City in Jerusalem. She spent most of her adult life in Marin County, California, first in Sausalito, then on Tomales Bay. She now lives with her dog, Moxie, in Estes Park, Colorado.
