I am a retired professor in social psychology from Arizona State University now living in Abiquiu, New Mexico, the country made famous by artist Georgia O'Keeffe. I am currently writing fictional accounts of the adventures of Abigail Romero, a modern, mid-thirties Latina, who lives and works in the Abiquiu area. The stories mix socio cultural characteristics of northern New Mexico with investigations by Abigail and friends that balance action with psychological issues. The writing is meant to be light and enjoyable as well as engaging. Personal interests including hiking, fishing, beekeeping, cooking, golf, and my support of women's rights find their way into the stories.
