Daniel G. Lipowitz

After 38 years, Daniel Lipowitz continues to teach seniors and sophomores English at Unionville High School in Kennett Square, PA. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn State, Lipowitz has directed 42 plays, including the "Scottish Play." He is in production for his 43rd play, You Can't Take It With You. In addition, Lipowitz is the advisor of the school newspaper. Also, he has served as a grader for the SAT essay. His hobbies include playing guitar, writing songs, and playing softball.

Furthermore, Lipowitz has created the Monsters of Literature" podcasts, a series of interviews with famous antagonists such as Macbeth, Humbaba and Dracula.

He has produced and composed songs for a children's CD called Music for Little Humans. In addition, Lipowitz composed "A September morning," a song honoring the heroes of Flight 93. All sales proceeds go to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

An avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Lipowitz resides in Ardmore with his wife and children.
