David P. Murphy can be held accountable for five books: "The Doomsday Survival Handbook," "Ace Your Zombie Exam! The Official Ph.Z. Study Guide," "Zombies for Zombies -- The Play & Werk Buk" and, of course, the one that started it all, "Zombies for Zombies: Advice and Etiquette for the Living Dead." His first book of short stories, "Rapturella and Other Apocalyptic Tales," was self-published in 2012.
Murphy is also a songwriter and producer of five CDs, "Shining in a Temporary Sun," Henry Perry's "Effortless," Camille Metoyer Moten's "A Simpler Christmas" and Beth Asbjornson's "Gratitude." "My Fraudulent Memoirs," his latest solo album was released in 2013.
He has recently completed his newest musical, "anotherwhere."
He has been playing piano since he was a kid and is still trying to get it right.
Mr. Murphy currently resides in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska with his unusually large cat, Beany.
