Tony Richards was born in London, England and – though widely traveled – he has lived in that city for most of his life. He sold his first professional story just a few months after leaving college and has rarely looked back since. His novels have been published by Tor Books, Eos/HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster in the United States and by Pan Books, Headline Publishing and Lume in the UK and he has nine collections of short fiction to his name. His first novel – ‘The Harvest Bride’ – was shortlisted for an HWA Bram Stoker Award and his book of short stories ‘Going Back’ was a finalist for the British Fantasy Award for Best Collection. His recent work includes some highly-praised short fiction, the final novels in his Raine’s Landing supernatural thriller series, and a number of stories and short novels in the style of H.P Lovecraft.
