Elizabeth Goodwin

Elizabeth Goodwin an English teacher at Central Crossing High School. She is also a writer and poet. She studied journalism, creative writing, and theater at Bowling Green State University where she won the Howard McCord Prize for Poetry. Her poetry has most recently appeared in The English Journal and her next four children's books will be available in 2013. Currently, she is working on her first young adult novel. She has been a featured reader at Ohio Magazine's poetry booth at the Columbus Arts Festival three times. Elizabeth says her inspiration comes from reading poetry by Frank O'Hara and spending time with her new daughter, Amelia.
