Neil Regan

Neil Regan (1962) was born and raised in southeastern North Carolina. The author, historian, and photographer is proudly descended from patriots of the American Revolution, The War of 1812, and Confederate Army, Artillery, and Cavalry. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. His first book, Spectacular Waterfalls of Western North Carolina (Authorhouse, October, 2008), added a new dimension to the region's waterfall guidebooks by utilizing color photographs of every waterfall and a clear, concise text format. He has completed his second guidebook following the same format, Great Waterfalls of North Carolina (Parkway Publishers), that was released in March, 2010. He currently resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
