Ron Presley

Ron Presley is a freelance outdoor writing living in Florida. He is an avid angler with many years of experience in both fresh and salt-water fishing. A college professor by trade, Ron achieved many levels of success in the educational community including teaching and administration.

Ron has devoted many hours developing fishing skills and teaching them to others. As he pursues his career as an author and recreational angler the only thing different is the subject. He is still a teacher by heart and enjoys passing along his knowledge of fishing to the general public through writing, seminar presentations and hands on instruction.

"Secret's From Florida's Master Anglers" was awarded First Place at the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association's Excellence in Crafts Award for the Outdoor Book Category in 2010.

"Fishing Secret's From Florida's East Coast" won Second Place at the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association's Excellence in Crafts Award for the Outdoor Book Category in 2012.

Ron is past president (2012) of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association.
