Gwen Hamlin

Gwen Hamlin(1952- ) is the author of two YA novels, "Changing Keys" and "Beneath the Surface". A former charter captain and long-distance cruising sailor, Hamlin writes the long-running column "Admiral's Angle" (appearing in Latitudes and Attitudes and Cruising Outpost magazines) as well as feature articles for those magazines and Cruising World magazine. She chronicled her sailing experiences on the website www.thetwocaptains.com and is a principal in the website www.womenandcruising.com. She has a short story -- "Balancing Act" -- in the soon to be released anthology "Undercurrents: A Rising Tide of Mystery, Magic and Mischief." She currently lives in Tarpon Springs, FL.
