I grew up in sunny Kennewick, Washington and now call Seattle my home.
I have a couple of degrees and many years of managing people under my belt.
A few years ago I had my first child, then my second, and recently my third.
Once I had children, I realized what a powerful management training program parenthood can be.
I decided to write a book about this phenomenon to help other women understand how motherhood is an asset to our careers. I signed with Thomas Dunne, a division of St. Martin's Press. Motherhood is the New MBA: Using Your Parenting Skills to Be a Better Boss released nationwide on September 29th, 2009. It has since been contracted in Brazil and China.
I am active and well-versed in social media. In addition to my own blog, I contribute online to Working Mother Magazine, MomLogic and my company’s blog. I’ve also been a guest contributor on a variety of other sites.
I speak on management and social media.
