Barry Silverstein

Thanks for considering my books!

I am an author, blogger, brand historian and retired marketing professional.

I ran my own direct marketing agency for twenty years and have over forty years of experience in branding, advertising, and marketing.

My books focus on branding, marketing and small business.

I have written the following non-fiction works:

- World War Brands: World War II and the Rise of the Modern American Brand (GuideWords Publishing)

- Boomer Brand Winners & Losers: 156 Best & Worst Brands of the 50s and 60s (GuideWords Publishing)

- Boomer Brands: Iconic Brands that Shaped Our Childhood (GuideWords Publishing)

- Let's Make Money, Honey: The Couple's Guide to Starting a Service Business (co-author, GuideWords Publishing)

- eGuides: Branding 123, B2B Marketing 123, Low Cost / No Cost Marketing 123, Product Launch 123, Sales Leads 123, On Your Own 123

- The Breakaway Brand (co-author, McGraw-Hill),

- Business-to-Business Internet Marketing (Maximum Press)

- Internet Marketing for Information Technology Companies (Maximum Press)

- Small Business Management Books:

Managing People, Motivating Employees, and Evaluating Performance (Collins Best Practices Series).

I've also written two novels that you might enjoy:

- "The Doomsday Virus" (iUniverse) is a thriller about two rival software company executives who are forced to work together to overcome an evil computer hacker. This novel was selected as a finalist in the ForeWord magazine Book of the Year awards.

- "Water's Edge" (Smashwords) is a thriller about an environmental investigator who is pulled into a water pollution case and finds out there is much more below the surface. He works with his dog to solve the case; in fact, the dog plays a prominent role in the novel. This one was a lot of fun to write since I could incorporate my love for dogs into the book.

I post many articles on Medium.
