Cameron H. Chambers has been a writer and subsequently an editor since his earliest serious efforts in high school. He won his first award, a first place finish, as a college student, in a university-wide essay contest. He published his first comic article in a magazine, dealing with a disastrous family reunion he attended, also during his college years. He has written steadily since. He placed with a manuscript of his, the first novel he wrote, The Stone Cabin, second in a literary contest, covering the Southeastern United States. He kept a blog for approximately a dozen years, and mention of his work has been referenced on Fox News, radio shows, and online magazines.

Books

The author has produced nine books. His eighth was published in October 2017. His ninth in December 2017. Two are comedies, including his eighth work, and the others are chiefly serious dramatic works of fiction with a lighter side, to take in as well one book of novellas and one textbook. Two of his books use vignettes tied in an elaborate explanation of a complex, central character and numerous subplots. His work is very character driven.

The nine books in order of authorship are: The Stone Cabin; For the Love of a Madman; Confessions of an Internet Don Juan; Don't Cross the Devil; Three Novellas; The Man Who Saved the Planet; English Composition One; Vignetta Vendetta Slices of Life; and Short Works.
