J Douglas Bottorff

J Douglas Bottorff has spent more than four decades exploring the intersection of spirituality, consciousness, and the creative nature of human experience. Ordained as a Unity minister in 1981, he has served congregations in five churches while developing a thoughtful and practical approach to spiritual awakening that draws from New Thought philosophy, the teachings of Jesus, mystical experience, and contemporary research into consciousness.

He is the author of numerous books, including The Complete Soul, Native Soul, A Practical Guide to Meditation & Prayer, A Practical Guide to Prosperous Living, The Whispering Messiah, Beams of Light, and A Spiritual Journey. His writing invites readers to move beyond fear, limitation, and dogma toward a direct experience of the Creative Life Force that underlies all existence.

Doug is also the founder of STONYWATER Books, an independent publishing imprint dedicated to thoughtfully crafted books exploring spirituality, consciousness, creativity, and the enduring search for truth.
