I love helping people learn things. I've been a technical writer and trainer for decades now and have helped thousands of people.

In 2003 I was selected as an Exceptional Adult Educator of the Year.

I've been published many times -- like my daily Tech Universe column at the NZ Herald, WordPress 2 Visual QuickStart Guide (with Maria Langer), Connect your Community, a 10 year series of articles for Communitynet Aotearoa, Macguide magazine (NZ), Informit, and in many other places.

I live by a beach near Levin, New Zealand, where it's always the future, even if it is just an accident of timezones. For fun and relaxation I take photos, walk my dogs, ride my bike, explore the neighbourhood, watch or read crime shows, mystery novels, sci-fi.
