John Lawrence

John was a childhood actor and continued to perform during summer breaks from his High School in Dalton, Georgia where he was known then by his theatrical name of Larry Armond. As an adult he became a police officer, detective and an undercover agent.

He enlisted in the army as a private during the Korean police action and retired after the Viet Nam war as a Lieutenant Colonel. He served both on active duty and in the reserves. He is a highly decorated combat wounded veteran.

He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Law Enforcement and Corrections as well as from Webster College with a Masters degree in Psychology.

John founded one of the largest private investigative agencies in the state of Washington. He conducted or supervised over 3000 criminal and industrial investigations. He later opened his polygraph company and conducted over 6000 polygraph examinations, the majority of which were court ordered. It is from these cases that he draws most of the material for his books.

John has published a number of books in the John Bodie series under his complete name of John Lawrence Ketchum. Most of these books can be found on Amazon's Webb site such as , "Laser Liar...Telepathic Liar...Lie to me...and Liar, Liar House on Fire.
