The hits came fast. Noreen Braman found herself reeling from a corporate downsizing, dealing with an economic recession of historic proportions, and facing her own midlife issues. Soon her skills as strategic communications profession, humorist, writer and performer would send her in a new direction. Noreen is an Instructor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University, sharing well-being habits, finding purpose, and exploring laughter, humor, and life.
Noreen credits Dr. Paul McGhee's book "Humor as a Survival Training for a Stressed Out World," as well as Linda Richman's "I'd Rather Laugh: How to Be Happy Even if Life Has Other Plans for You," for helping her understand the important survival aspects of laughter. Noreen deals with her fibromyalgia and thyroid disease with humor, reminding all of us that yesterday's problem can be today's funny story.
