Phil and I had the good fortune to retire from the every-day work world early. As we planned "what to do when we retired", we decided now would be a great time to go on that long road trip that we had always thought about.

People all along the way kept saying the same thing, "Oh, we'd love to do what you are doing, but what did you do about..." and everyone kept asking the same questions. So when we got home, we did a little research and found that there really wasn't a "hand book" to help people plan such a trip. So we decided to write one for all of you to enjoy!
